This is a deskunk soulution that many have used and it really works.
1 quart of hydrodgen peroxide
1/4 cup of backing soda
2 teaspons of liquid soap
You need to mix up this soulution in a open bowl apply to the skunked area and let it soak into the dog 5 minutes or so and rinse.Try to keep out of eyes and mouth. If the oder is still present repeat.Do not mix this up and store in a sealed container it could build up pressure and explode. I carry these ingredients in my vehicle at all times and have used it on my dogs plus others it is a true nose saver for the ride home.
Thanks for sharing this. Right now all the skunks around here are in hibernation. I just hope that I'll remember where I saw this recipe next June when they're out in force.
