Griffon Art Print

Kurt Soneson asked me to share this item and asks for your feedback.

I’m looking into the possibility of having some type of griffon hunting print done. A friend of mine is a noted Maine wildlife artist. He would be willing to do a club print for us. He needs a minimum of 200 prints. The selling price to club members would be approx $150 plus S&H. To check out his work go to www.tomhennessey.com
Given that the print would be of only one dog, what features should the print emphasize?

  • Difference in dogs—dark colored vs. light
  • Heavy coats vs. light coats
  • Furnishings
  • Terrain hunted plains vs. woods vs. field
  • Species hunted
  • Could we use a middle-of-the-road griff, pointing only, no bird involved, varied terrain?
  • Should a hunter be in or out of the scene?

Please put out the word. I would love some feedback and ideas sent to me at boganspoint@midmaine.com
I would have to have a solid 200 print commitment. We would have to go with majority rules on picture content. Hopefully we could make this work.

Thanks,

Kurt Soneson
