 KDK Chapter Print
2008 KDK Judges group

The KDK is a small but dedicated group of versatile gun dog enthusiasts based in California.  The chapter generally hosts the first test of the year in January.

KDK Group Merges with Northwest Chapter

The KDK group is now affiliated with the Northwest Chapter of the WPGCA.  The KDK ttraditionally has held an early spring test (January) in California.  Information about future KDK related activites will be posted on the

Northwest Chapter Page.

The KDK club was originally intended to promote the intelligent breeding of German Shorthairs by offering the European Klub Deutsch Kurzhaar tests. Joe Nandewar and Rolf Bensler where early leaders. The KDK and the Griffon Club shared the same senior judges and objectives and often ran both sets of tests on the same day. Serious breeders of German Wirehairs also took advantage of this resource and still do. Last year the KDK was incorporated by the Northwest Chapter of the Griffon Club. The Northwest Chapter uses the KDK test facilities near Oroville, California for a winter test every year. Silke Alberts, Rolf Bensler, and Warren Webster coordinate the test for the Griffon Club. It's the same people under a different banner.
